The days between Christmas and the New Year have such a liminal energy to them- things are changing swiftly, the year is sweeping out; so much has happened in the past three months with Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, and then suddenly, that's all going to be over; life will return to a more ordinary and recognizable pace. 

As a kid, this was always a magical time, a time we enjoyed away from school and playing with our Christmas presents and thinking about how great things were. 

As an adult, the liminal aspect is just completely and utterly in our face; things are different suddenly, things are changing​. 

Yet the energy flowing at this point is amazing if you open yourself to it.

Let us try to open ourselves to the secrets among the energy of the Christ flowing to us during this Christmastide.

As we're in the midst of Christmastide, I wanted to extend the warmest of wishes to everyone in the Northern Hemisphere who may be experiencing the colder seasons now- and also warm wishes to our friends in the Southern Hemisphere who are enjoying hotter temperatures! 

Last night, I had one of the most powerful meditations I've ever had. The deepest, if you will. No doubt, this meditation was related, in part, to the Rebirth of the Mystical Christ in us all at this time of year. 

So I wish this for you all. I pray for this for you all. Keep close and deep in your prayer life. Be intentional with your prayers- focus on the offering of the prayers to God. Meditate consistently and as much as you can as I know many people have busy lives for various reasons.

May Christ's love be ever born anew in our hearts.

​December 13th - Memory of St. Lucy, esoterically the saint of Inner Vision and Light.

(Lucy = Lucia = Lux = Light)

Today we remember that prayer of the service of Benediction in the LC liturgy:

"Oh Lord Christ, Hidden Dweller in the human spirit, open our eyes in You that we may See!"

"The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light." ( Matthew 6:22 )

Also known as the third eye, star of the East, inner eye, dove descending from heaven, eye of Shiva, eye of intuition. The single eye of intuition and omnipresent perception at the Christ (Kutastha) center (ajna chakra) between the eyebrows.
The deeply meditating devotee beholds the spiritual eye as a ring of golden light encircling a sphere of opalescent blue, and at the center, a pentagonal white star. Microcosmically, these forms and colors epitomize, respectively, the vibratory realm of creation (Cosmic Nature, Holy Ghost); the Son or intelligence of God in creation (Christ Consciousness); and the vibrationless Spirit beyond all creation (God the Father). The spiritual eye is the entryway into the ultimate states of divine consciousness.

In deep meditation, as the devotee's consciousness penetrates the spiritual eye, into the three realms epitomized therein, he experiences successively the following states:

1. superconsciousness or the ever new joy of soul realization, and oneness with God as Aum (q.v.) or Holy Ghost;
2. Christ consciousness, oneness with the universal intelligence of God in all creation;
3. and cosmic consciousness, unity with the omnipresence of God that is beyond as well as within vibratory manifestation.

Explaining a passage from Ezekiel (43:1-2), Paramahansa Yogananda has written: "Through the divine eye in the forehead, ('the east'), the yogi sails his consciousness into omnipresence, hearing the word or Aum, the divine sound of 'many waters': the vibrations of light that constitute the sole reality of creation." In Ezekiel's words: "Afterwards he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh towards the east; and behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east; and His voice was like the noise of many waters; and the earth shined with His glory."
Jesus also spoke of the spiritual eye: "When thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light... Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness" (Luke 11:34-35).

Hoy recordamos esa oración del servicio de Bendición en la liturgia catolica liberal:
"¡Oh Señor Cristo , Morador Oculto en el espíritu humano , abre nuestros ojos en Ti para que Veamos!"


"La luz del cuerpo es el ojo: por eso, si tu ojo es único, todo tu cuerpo estará lleno de luz." ( Mateo 6:22 )

También conocido como tercer ojo, estrella de Oriente, ojo interior, paloma que desciende del cielo, ojo de Shiva, ojo de la intuición. El ojo único de la intuición y la percepción omnipresente en el centro de Cristo (Kutastha) (ajna chakra) entre las cejas.

El devoto que medita profundamente contempla el ojo espiritual como un anillo de luz dorada que rodea una esfera de color azul opalescente, y en el centro, una estrella blanca pentagonal. Microcósmicamente, estas formas y colores personifican, respectivamente, el reino vibratorio de la creación (Naturaleza Cósmica, Espíritu Santo); el Hijo o la inteligencia de Dios en la creación (Conciencia Crística); y el Espíritu sin vibración más allá de toda la creación (Dios Padre). El ojo espiritual es la entrada a los estados últimos de la conciencia divina.

En la meditación profunda, a medida que la conciencia del devoto penetra en el ojo espiritual, en los tres reinos personificados en él, experimenta sucesivamente los siguientes estados:

1. la superconciencia o la alegría siempre nueva de la realización del alma, y la unidad con Dios como Aum (q.v.) o Espíritu Santo;
2. la conciencia crística, la unidad con la inteligencia universal de Dios en toda la creación
3. y la conciencia cósmica, la unidad con la omnipresencia de Dios que está más allá y dentro de la manifestación vibratoria.

Explicando un pasaje de Ezequiel (43:1-2), Paramahansa Yogananda ha escrito "A través del ojo divino en la frente, ('el este'), el yogui navega su conciencia hacia la omnipresencia, escuchando la palabra o Aum, el sonido divino de 'muchas aguas': las vibraciones de luz que constituyen la única realidad de la creación". Homage to Our Lady
This short meditation may be used before or after the service of the Holy Eucharist or as a private devotion
We bow in homage and adoration to thee, Mother of God, Queen of the Heavens, Star of the Sea, Guardian of Humanity; we greet thee and thine Angel hosts, shedding beauty and blessing among men and nature; may we serve thee in our fellow men.

Holy Lady Mary, Mother of the world, Queen of Love and Compassion, with all our hearts we pour out our love and devotion at Thy feet; and we offer ourselves as channels of thy Wondrous tenderness, as agents of Thy ever-ready help.
We pray Thee to use us in Thy holy work, that we may grow to be like Thee our Glorious Mother.
O holy Mother, Queen of our hearts, we dedicate our lives to thy service. Ave Maria. Amen.

THE FEMININE ASPECT OF DIVINITY
The Aquarian Catholic Spiritual Community recognizes and pays deep homage to the maternal aspect of divinity, the mother-nature of God. The latter is looked upon as all-pervading, unfathomable, divine mystery. It brings forth and nourishes all created life. Its highest expression is the World Mother as represented by the Holy Lady Mary .
